Based in Suffolk on the edge of the King's Forest, drawing inspiration from my surroundings and British folklore, I create work in a variety of media. 

 

I work mostly to commission preferring to reuse materials wherever possible. I seek wood with character for my sculptures, wood that might already suggest the presence of a form within; a natural split as the edge of a wing or using the contorted grain of a burr as plumage.  

 

I am never happier than when carving a creature out of a twisted, old beam or giving outdated/unused silver a new life as a piece of bespoke jewellery.
